APIs in NYC – Shout it from the rooftops

Here at Mashery, it’s not just that we power APIs – it's that we love helping customers use elegant and powerful APIs that drive real business value from digital platforms. We help our customers develop best-of-breed API strategies and empower them with tools to manage and support their use. In short, we power some of the best APIs around. Internal and external. Enterprise and mid-market. Cloud and local. We do it all.

A well-built API can help companies to easily manage the exchange of information from a myriad of complex data sources across the enterprise. Next week, we travel to New York for a number of events in order to shed some light on some of the most common IT issues facing businesses today.

On Tuesday, June 12, we’re sponsoring CloudCamp where our East Coast developer evangelist Amit Jotwani will be hosting a session on the use of APIs and powerful innovations, such as interactive documentation.

The following day, Wednesday, June 13, we’re headed to Deploycon where the conference agenda will focus on PaaS for business executives, IT and enterprise developers. Mashery’s very own Chuck Freeman will be on the “Future of PaaS” panel at 4:15pm EDT.

On Thursday, June 14, we’re off to Cloud Expo to engage around the topics of cloud computing and big data. Our co-founder and CEO Oren Michels will be speaking about harnessing and leveraging Big Data through APIs. He’ll also address how APIs can be used to solve five top Big Data challenges. Don’t miss his presentation - it’s scheduled to begin at 9:55am EDT.

Over the weekend, we’ll be working at a great hackathon, Hack ’n Jill where we’ll be helping developers to incorporate our customers’ APIs into their hacks. This hackathon not only has a fun “#HackYourSummer” theme, but promotes equal opportunity for male and female developers. 50 guys, 50 girls -- may the best hack win.
